It’s that time again– Spring is only a few short months away and it’s time to start thinking about what to fill those Easter Baskets with! Easter Baskets can be tricky, especially right on the heels of Christmas and Valentine’s Day- so I put together a few ideas based on what we used to get growing up!
Our “Easter Bunny” used to always bring us the same few things:
-New Pjs (or something cozy)
-Something fun for the upcoming summer months (think: sandals, bathing suits, a fun towel, new goggles, etc.)
-Toys that encouraged outdoor play (jump ropes, chalk, bubbles, sprinklers, etc.)
-New Art supplies or a game
-And of course, our baskets were always topped off with some fun knick-knacks and a big old Chocolate Bunny!
I try to stick to those same categories when planning out my own kids’ baskets and I came up the following lists based on them as well!

Lastly, I’m a big fan of traditional Easter baskets, however I also like the idea of re-purposing a container you’ve got laying around, or buying one you’d like to use again after Easter- whether it be a toy, a suitcase, or a cute crate for storage. Here are a few ideas for alternative Easter baskets!
